"Strong Wills" is inspired by belonging. People that are hard-headed and stubborn are so often unwelcome in our circles. But just as donkeys are useful for defending their farms and carrying heavy loads, people with strong wills may thrive in these roles when given a chance. This painting features one such character before a softly blurred pasture. The sun is setting and casting a warm glow on him, and he belongs.
