Reference photos do not have to be perfect, but some things that help are a) a well-lit subject, b) an upright head pose, c) little or no obstructions, and d) clarity (no pixelation or blurriness.) If you're deciding, feel free to run your options by me, and I'll be glad to give suggestions.

Payment is due when you approve your mockup and portrait timeframe. After payment is submitted, I will start on your artwork.

At this time, portraits will be sent to you in a standard wooden frame. This is included with your portrait for free to avoid damage while handling your artwork. You may opt out of a frame if you wish, and your portrait will be delivered in a cellophane cover with care instructions. When handling, treat your artwork like a wet painting. Never touch the soft pastels or apply additional fixative.
